Hunter Industrial Ceramics places a high priority on the promotion of a safe work environment and the prevention of personal injury.

To achieve our Safety commitments, the Company realises that safety is both a management and individual employee responsibility. With this in mind, the Company shall promote compliance with all legislation, rules or regulations as required by Workcover Authority and State and Federal Governments.

To this end the Company shall provide adequate job training and instruction to prevent personal physical injury. Education of employees does not end with instruction, as the Company shall continue to identify potential hazards in the workplace and determine and implement the appropriate means of reducing such hazards.

The Company shall endeavour to ensure the security, protection of Company personnel by the prevention and control of physical violence, misconduct, theft or sabotage.

The Company realises that these policies require complete endorsement, active participation, and enthusiastic co-operation from all management and employees for our safety programme to succeed.
